Zong MF25 (2020) Fastboot All Network Unlock
Official 2-20 & 3-20 B15/B08 unlock solution for all SIM networks.
Hello friends! Today we will share the official and 100% working method to unlock the ZTE Zong MF25 (2020 version) desktop router for all SIM cards. The Zong MF25 is a popular and high-performance 4G desktop router. However, by default, it is locked to the Zong network, which means you cannot use any other mobile network provider SIM card in it. If you insert another SIM card (like Jazz, Telenor, Ufone, or SCOM), the device will show no signals or an invalid SIM error on the admin dashboard. Since internet packages are getting more expensive, users want to unlock their devices to choose the best network and cheapest data plans in their area.
Unlocking the 2020 builds of Zong MF25 (such as the February 2020 build 2-20 and March 2020 build 3-20, firmware versions B15 and B08) is more challenging than older versions. These newer builds contain updated security patches and secure boot protections. Using standard flashing techniques or basic commands can fail or even damage the router permanently. If a wrong file is flashed, the router might get bricked and show only the power light without detecting any port. To solve this, we are sharing a custom flashing tool and official firmware files that are completely safe. This package allows you to bypass the network lock via bootloader/fastboot mode.
For this flashing process, you need a Windows computer or laptop and a high-quality Micro USB cable. A stable USB connection is crucial, as any disconnection during the flash can damage the device. You also need to install the ZTE USB drivers and Qualcomm drivers on your computer. Without these drivers, your PC will not detect the router in fastboot or bootloader mode. You can verify the driver status in Device Manager. If the flashing tool gets stuck at ‘waiting for device’, it means the drivers are not communicating properly, and you need to reinstall them or try a different USB port.
Before starting the flash, temporarily disable your antivirus or Windows Defender because security programs can block custom scripts. Power off the router, hold the WPS/Reset key, and connect the USB cable to enter Fastboot Mode. Run the flashing tool as Administrator, input the file password, and follow the onscreen steps. The tool will automatically flash the kernel sectors. Once the progress reaches 100%, the router will restart automatically. Unplug the cable, insert any other network SIM card, and power on the device. Wait for the signal indicators to turn green, then open the admin dashboard (192.168.8.1) in your browser to complete the setup. If you face any issues, perform a factory reset or configure the APN settings manually.
